Merryl is a leadership development consultant, executive coach and facilitator and her services add value to leadership, performance and change initiatives. She is passionate about the development of organisational resilience, with leaders who can effectively manage complexity and change.
Merryl’s expertise is founded on a multi – disciplinary approach, drawing from the fields of neuroscience of leadership, education, social sciences, positive psychology and a deep understanding of how people learn.
Merryl’s previous management experience saw her responsible to management and leadership development strategy in a complex organisation, supporting major change initiatives. In this role she was responsible for the development of capability frameworks aligned to organisational needs; the design, implementation and evaluation of a range of strategies and programmes which supported leadership development at all levels; from the frontline to senior executives; talent management and emerging leaders.
Merryl is an accredited Executive Coach with over five years’ experience in high performance coaching of senior leaders across a range of public and private sectors. More recently, she worked as a Lead Assessor, Assessor and Executive Coach on the delivery of the NSW Public Service Commission’s Executive Development Programme for more than 400 Senior Executives. Merryl facilitates leadership workshops and conducts team coaching to build more effective workplace relationships, engagement and collaboration.
Merryl has qualifications in The Neuroscience of Leadership, Human Resources Management, a Masters of Education Degree and is a Graduate of the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership. She is a noted speaker on Emotional Intelligence, Resilience and Strengths – Based Leadership.
